Amaryon Bates

Originally from Sacramento, California, my passion for visual storytelling began in middle school when I received my first video camera and started documenting the world around me.

After high school, I moved to Palo Alto California to attend Menlo College, where I competed in track & field while earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance. During college is also when I began my career as a professional actor and model, building experience across fashion, commercial, and production work.

Following graduation, I spent six years as a fiduciary Financial Advisor at a prestigious firm, managing over $100 million in assets for families and businesses. That experience has strengthened my skills in strategy, budgeting, planning, research, and problem-solving which translates into my work ethic with creative partnerships and campaigns.

Over the years the last 10 years I have had the opportunity to work with incredible brands including Apple, The North Face, and Jeep, along with leading roles in short films and SAG-AFTRA commercials. In 2026, I made the decision to leave finance and pursue storytelling full time, dedicating my career to creating meaningful work in front and behind the camera.

As a multidisciplinary creative, I bring together artistic instinct and strategic thinking to tell stories that are authentic, visually compelling, and emotionally resonant.
